I think that everyone understands that beautiful, regenerative skin does not just appear out of nowhere; it takes regularity, right product selection, and of course, effective skin management. A secret to elevate your skincare to the next level that has helped me and which i am about to reveal. Today’s post will include my entire body care and skincare routine including one of my favorite items – exfoliation gloves. Furthermore, if you want to get a few of these items, there are a few simple typo links to click.
I share my in-depth shower routine. I’ll guide you through step-by-step steps, ensuring clean hands before touching your skin. I’ll introduce a face mask, which I highly recommend for detoxing and promoting skin health.
Exfoliation Gloves
Alright, guys, the first thing I do is use exfoliation gloves. I never skip exfoliating in my routine because it keeps my skin so soft and controls that rough texture, like strawberry skin. If you want to get rid of that, make sure you’re exfoliating. I use these exfoliating gloves from a local shop; they’re really affordable and work so well. I exfoliate my entire body from the neck down in gentle motions to avoid tearing the skin. This is my first step, though I do exfoliate further. if you need this Buy here.
Here’s a tip: when you exfoliate, use gentle circular motions – you wouldn’t want to cause tears to your skin because you were so rough. I exfoliate the entire body up to the neck, concentrating on the skin surface of areas that are prone to roughness and dryness such as knees and elbows. This is just the first exfoliation step however used it is huge step in improving the texture of one’s skin.
Body Scrub
Body scrubs come next in the regimen. After the exfoliation gloves are used, I like to follow up with a body scrub that is moisturizing in nature in order to achieve a second layer of exfoliation. The vitamin E body scrub has been my scrub of choice since it keeps my skin evenly hydrated and very soft. My technique is much like the gloves: I apply the scrub in soft, circular motions, focusing on areas that require special attention, especially those troublesome areas such as the elbows and knees that are prone to darkening.
Gloves, scrub and a spa for your skin We expect everyone’s skin to be cleaned off every dead cell but smooth and hydrated too. Trust me your skin will appreciate that!
Next, I use a body scrub. I’ve been using a vitamin E body scrub for a long time because it’s moisturizing and doesn’t dry out my skin. I rub it in circular motions, just like with the exfoliating gloves. Again, I make sure to never skip my elbows and knees, where darkness can build up. if you need body scrub by here
After-Shower Care
The moment I finish bathing or showering, comes the time to observe my after-shower care steps. One of the products that I find very efficient is The ordinary’s toner with glycolic vine. I put it under my armpits as it also targets preventing excessive sweat odor and hypopigmentation armpits. This toner did wonders in helping me keep my armpits light and fresh. It is great for someone who has that area darkening or whenever he or she wants to keep fresh the whole day.
Then, I start my after-shower care routine. I use The Ordinary’s glycol acid toner under my arms. It’s excellent for hyper pigmentation and odor control. This toner has kept my underarms light and many people have found it effective against body odor.
Moisturizing
To moisturize, I use Caravels smoothing cream. It’s fantastic for rough skin because it moisturizes and fights body acne with salicylic acid and urea. My skin loves it, especially in the winter. To seal in moisture, I use Vaseline, which works better than oil for my body because it’s thicker and heavier.
Heading toward moisturizing — one of the most vital steps, if not the most. Caravel’s smoothing cream is what I utilize, having this perfect for applying on rough skin and body acne. Salicylic acid and urea, both of which are good for any skin bumps or breakouts on the body help in treating that aspect. This cream is amazing and particularly enables me to supple and moist my skin even in the cold months.
To make sure that all the hydration is locked into my skin, I always apply Vaseline thereafter. This is the reason why I like it especially since it does not work the same way as the gels and lotions, rather is a good sealant and enhances the moisture content on the skin for the better part of the day. Especially in winter, when your skin is likely to crack this combination of cream and Vaseline is a miracle.
Skincare Routine
Now for my skincare routine. I start with mi cellar water to ensure my skin is clean, especially after wearing makeup. I use one from Skint T because I don’t need to rinse it off, making everything easier.
Now, I would like to elaborate more of my skincare practices! The first thing I do is apply Skint T micellar water on my face to remove makeup if I have been wearing some. It is non irritating and very efficient; also it does not require water to rinse off making it particularly neat.
Next, I reach for my favorite serum, which is The Ordinary’s Niacinamide, and after cleansing. This is a great serum for treating acne as well as improving the texture of skin. I spread it evenly without massaging it any further and wait for it to be dry completely before I carry on. This keeps oil at bay and helps in the smoothing of my skin.
The Neutrogena hydrating cream gets added to my routine during the cold seasons as well. People with dry skin will appreciate this cream as it works to ensure that my skin all over including my face remains soft and succulent even for a whole day.
Applying Serum
My favorite serum is Niacin amide from The Ordinary. It’s great for acne and skin texture. I gently rub it into my skin and let it dry. In the winter, I use a very hydrating facial cream from Neutrogena that targets dry skin, making my skin feel perfect.
To sum it all up, my body and skincare routine may seem detailed, but it’s all about consistency. Taking a few extra minutes to properly exfoliate, treat, and moisturize can make all the difference in achieving smooth, glowing skin. Whether you’re looking to banish rough texture, hydrate dry skin, or tackle acne, these steps have got you covered.
Eye Care
The skin beneath our eyes tends to be thinner than that of the face, so it is often sensitive and requires some extra pampering. For this purpose, I am using an eye cream from The In key List. It’s effective for both dark circles and puffiness. Following that, I gently pat it in with my ring gold finger at the outer ends of my eyes to prevent stretching the skin. I also use eye cream from The In key List for dark under-eye bags. The skin under your eyes is thinner, so I apply it very gently.
Night Serum
Finally, I seal everything with a vitamin E night serum from The Body Shop, which locks in moisture and helps lighten any scarring.
When it’s almost bedtime, I tend to extend my routine by using the Vit E night serum from The Body Shop and that aids moisture retention while improving the healing of scars. This helps feed the skin throughout the night so that by morning, there’s a healthy radiance without effort in a day’s work.
Spot Treatment
In case I have some active pimples on my face, tea tree oil is the first medicine I reach out to. It is a very natural way to heal the damaged skin without any side effects. I use a cotton bud to apply the oil on the affected area to keep it clean and usually within a few days the pimples are gone. This is why I have flawless skin!
For active acne, I use tea tree oil as a spot treatment. My pimples usually disappear in about three days. I use a cotton bud to avoid contamination and apply it directly to the pimples. Next post
